My first post!!!!

Sooo... Hello everyone! Finally I'm sitting down doing my thing I do best, talking! Firstly I would like to thank everyone who made our time in South Africa these last 3 months wonderful, you are all every special people to us and we love you lots!!!! Our wedding was just so so unbelievably amazing and will always be in our hearts! Its hard to thank you all enough but really thank you to all of you for being there!!!!

Well since I have arrived it has been interesting... My arm/shoulder thing was a challenge, trying to unpack with 1 arm is well, you can imagine. Its getting better which is of course great. We are now packed out, yay! Cooking... well I'm sure you all know I'm not the worlds greatest cook, my speciality is toasted cheese and ham! :) But I'm proud to say I have cooked up a storm and made steak pie, casserole, creamy smoked salmon pasta and so on.

We have settle in nicely into our little flat, its not a mansion but its "our first home" and its all ours, which I love! In the future we will save for our big house. In the mean time I love being a wife and I know Bertus loves being a husband!

When we first landed, we stayed in Auckland, its lovely there. Clean, safe and beautiful. We then drove down to Palmerston North, its not too small but its not Durban. I still cant believe how safe it is here, children (young as in 8 years old) walking home from school. There is no gates, walls, thick glass etc at the houses or banks. I'm still getting used to it. Everyone is so so friendly and helpful. I have gone to 2 of Bertus' games, the girls are welcoming. I have been to some job interviews and joined recruitment agencies. So far so good. I miss you all though!

I suppose that is it then! Have a very happy Easter! Enjoy this time with your family! Godbless! Stay in contact. And I will write again soon. Love you all! Mwah! Me
Photo's: First one is of us in the Auckland harbor on St. Patrick's Day, second is of us with Tom and Lize (family thats in Auckland), third is of the Manawatu river, fourth is our bags piling up in our lounge, fifth is our welcome note when we got here and last one is of chantelle's first home made pie...yummy!

Hurray! She speaks!
Wow my friend, it looks so great! I'm impressed with the pie! Remember our Steak & Ale pie drama in Scotland? Hopefully this pie session did not end so uncomfortably!
Saw Estelle at church on Sunday - smiling as always. Keep posting stuff because we all miss you guys.
Love you lots, take care of you....(remember, this time I'm not there with the tea and eat-sum-mores, so you will just have to cope without me...:-)!
